> How to read this: the realized figures are observed auction/liquidation closes — the floor a unit clears at when sold off, typically well below dealer/retail. They are tracked separately from asking and never blended into it. Where a model has a single observed sale, it’s labeled as such.
Why this matters
A liquidation close and a dealer sale are different worlds, and an asking price is neither — it’s an ask. Keeping them separate, labeled, and cited is the whole point: the realized numbers are a floor reference, the asking medians are the going rate, and the gap between them is the negotiating room.
