Clinical Asset Index participates in the eBay Partner Network. When you click an outbound eBay link from anywhere on this site (deals, device pages, buyer's guides, the "See current listings" CTA) and subsequently make a purchase on eBay, CAI may receive a commission from eBay at no additional cost to you.

This is how the index is paid for. We don't run banner ads, we don't sell user data, we don't paywall the comps. The affiliate program is the entire revenue model right now.

This is the part that matters. The affiliate relationship has no influence on any of the following:

• Which devices we track (canonical-device coverage decisions are based on data signal, not affiliate yield).
• The comps we build for each device (median / p25 / p75 / min / max / sample size).
• The firm / limited / collecting tier we assign each device.
• The canonical-contamination and alias-safety audits that gate every comp.
• The B35 manually-validated lock list that protects recovered listings from the daily classifier.
• Which listings appear in the firm-comp deal feeds.
• The B36 "★ Stable deal" badge (which surfaces deals persisting across daily snapshots).
• Which sources we ingest from, or how we rank source quality on the per-device per-source breakdown.

Every outbound eBay link carries the standard eBay Partner Network tracking parameters (mkevt, mkcid, mkrid, campid, toolid) plus a per-page customid equal to the device slug so click attribution can be split by source page. Links use rel="sponsored noopener noreferrer" and target="_blank". Non-eBay outbound links (DOTmed, GovDeals, HiBid, LabX, PublicSurplus) are not affiliate-decorated — they exist only so a researcher can verify the source listing.

A short disclosure renders inline next to each affiliate CTA on device pages, buyer's guides, and the deals surface. The footer of every page also carries a short disclosure. This page is the canonical full version.

Clinical Asset Index is observed market intelligence for used clinical, dental, optometry, and lab equipment plus an adjacent industrial catalog. We aggregate listing data from public marketplaces (eBay, DOTmed, GovDeals, HiBid, LabX, PublicSurplus, AllSurplus), classify listings by type, compute peer-group medians, and publish the result. We do not broker, sell, inspect, or appraise equipment. We are not endorsed, sponsored, certified, or authorized by, and not an agent of, any marketplace, manufacturer, or seller — aside from the eBay Partner Network affiliate relationship described above, which does not influence the comps, medians, tiers, or deal feeds.
